Great Lakes Pharmaceuticals, Inc. is a Cleveland based clinical stage company focused on development and commercialization of products designed to prevent infections associated with indwelling catheters. Their first product, B-Lock™, is an anti-coagulant catheter lock solution with strong, broad spectrum activity against bacterial and fungal microorganisms known to form biofilm structures in indwelling catheters. Clinical testing of B-Lock™ is planned to start in the fourth quarter of 2008.
