CleveX Inc., is an early stage medical device company that is developing and marketing skin biopsy, closure and repair solutions for the dermatology, cosmetic surgery and primary care physicians. CleveX (LLC) started out in 2004 as a joint venture between Cleveland Clinic Foundation (Cleveland, OH) and IDx Medical Design (Cincinnati, OH) to develop and commercialize surgical dermatology and skin repair innovations generated by leading physicians at the Cleveland Clinic.  The company’s lead technology platform is the ExiClip®.  The ExiClip is a single-step, disposable surgical device that efficiently excises a skin lesion while simultaneously closing and repairing the surgical site.
