Real-Time Process Monitoring Revolutionizes Business Intelligence
Columbus-based InsightETE is a Leader in the Emerging Field
A viable new product or service category is always a welcome addition to the marketplace, but when it comes during the midst of an economic downturn, it represents an even brighter spot reports David Strom of CIOUpdate. Strom recently reported on the emerging business category known as real-time process monitoring (RTPM).
RTPM allows for the reporting of, and ultimate response to, business conditions as they are occurring. Traditionally, such business intelligence came from the historical perspective through analytics and reporting that could only be done on an hourly or daily basis. Advancements in the field now allow for entire processes to be monitored, viewed, compared with warehoused data and trended all in real time. This ultimately can help companies quickly respond to a number of key business issues such as improved customer service, compliance and security.
Columbus-based InsightETE is one of the emerging companies offering solutions in the RTPM space. InsightETE CEO RC Wheeless offered one example of how RTPM helps improve customer satisfaction and business processes in banking. InsightETE provides RPTM to JP Morgan Chase to help manage the bank’s network of 11,000 ATMs worldwide. Through RPTM, InsightETE monitors such issues as length of time it takes customers to withdrawal cash, excessive problems with PIN entries and other transaction details. In so doing InsightETE helps Chase identify and fix broken business processes quickly, thus leading to a more secure and satisfying customer experience.
